It stopped moving. I waited another nine days to be sure, photographed it in flat light, and closed the lot. Three people held a leading bid on this while it was unfinished and all three are on the record.

Laid the second plaster ground and salted it while it was still green. The bloom starts at the edges and works inwards, which is the opposite of what I wanted and better than what I wanted.
